Visible Migration, 4-5th october

Weather was bad on Monday and Tuesday with lots of clouds but there was a huge migration (mostly of finch) and birds where flying very low due to the clouds.

I counted the migration near my home, between 10 and 12:00 on Monday :

1 RED-THROATED PIPT!!! (Self-found tick!)

18 greylag goose

166 meadow pipit
3 grey wagtail
19 white wagtail
40 song trush

also somes raptors in the fields : 1 Merlin, 1 Marsh harrier

also between 18:00 and 18:30 :

and also a groupe of 60-70 meadow and a tree pipit in the field!

on Tuesday, 8-11:00 :
